Tottenham Hotspur fans appear to still feel bitter that their Champions League campaign came crashing down.

The North London outfit stormed through the group stage by impressing against Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men were dealt a difficult last-16 tie against Juventus, but they held their own in the first leg by coming from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw in Turin.

Unfortunately for Spurs, though, the Italian side progressed with a 2-1 triumph at Wembley thanks to second-half goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala.

Juventus went on to be beaten in the quarter-finals by Real Madrid, who have since reached the final, where they will play Liverpool.

The rivalry between Spurs and the Reds recently ramped up after Mohamed Salah appeared to mock Harry Kane’s attempts to boost his goal tally in the race for the Premier League Golden Boot.

The Tottenham striker claimed that Christian Eriksen’s winning goal against Stoke City brushed his shoulder, and the Premier League later awarded it to Kane.
