  WHAT HAPPENED?

  Singer and actor Anitta announced that she was undergoing a "whole week of celebration" for her birthday, as she turns 31 on March 30th. She posted a collage of pictures on Instagram and one showed both Neymar and pop star Machine Gun Kelly chilling out. Neymar, who is currently sidelined with an ACL injury, also posted a picture on his Instagram profile, confirming that he headed back to Brazil to celebrate his pal's birthday.

  Neymar and Anitta have been romantically linked in certain sections of the media but both have claimed that they are just friends. The pair were also spotted partying together at the Rio carnival but it appears the two simply enjoy each other's company. Anitta hailed this week's celebration with Neymar and Machine Gun Kelly as the "Best bday party everrrrr".

  Neymar joined Al-Hilal in August of 2023 but he has played just five times for the club. In those five games, he scored once and provided three assists before his injury, which has seen him ruled out for the rest of the season.
